Vietnam Italy Steel awarded “Vietnam Glory”
The 15th Vietnam Glory Program taken place with the theme " Study and follow Uncle Ho's words", honored 12 outstanding individuals and 7 teams all over the country. Representatives from Vietnam Italy Steel JSC (Mr. Pham The Hieu – Deputy General Foreman, Rolling Dept) was honored to be recognized with the award " Vietnam Glory".

Mr. Pham The Hieu has been evaluated by the jury with many technical innovations helping to improve production efficiency and environment.
As a Deputy General Foreman – Rolling Dept, in the years 2013 - 2018, Mr.Pham The Hieu had 5 technical innovations with topics: Design the cover for billet; Design vibrating coal floor; Machining the water tray for the base at the bottom of the furnace; Machining the water box for gas furnace; Machining extra water box for gas furnace. These innovations have been evaluated, tested and applied by the VIS Council of Innovation and Technical improvement; improved the productivity and product quality as well as environment and benefit the company more than 5 billion VND.

In addition to specialized work, Mr. Hieu always enthusiastically participated in Trade Union activities: support flood-hit people, orange poison children… and voted as an excellent Trade union members for many years.

Vietnam Glory organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Lao Dong Newspaper aimed at honoring individuals and teams with outstanding achievements in many activities. These nominee must be evaluated many rounds and published in the Labor newspaper.
As a result, there are 7 teams and 12 individuals "constantly creative, dream big and make it happen, contribute to the development of the nation" awarded.
