Vietnam Italy Steel JSC successfully hold annual shareholders meeting 2019
In the morning of April 19th, 2019, Vietnam Italy Steel JSC successfully hold annual shareholders meeting 2019 with a total shares account for 96.489% of its total common shares of the Company.

In 2018 Vietnam Italy Steel JSC has changed drastically with the conversion of owners from Thai Hung Trading JSC to Kyoei Steel Group. VIS has changed hole senior leadership apparatus from BOM, BOD to other key positions. A number of management policies accordingly are also changed in the direction of modern and advanced. VIS steel products quality has been improved significantly and is rated by customers as "No.1 in quality in the north market ".
Basing on the market forecasts 219, BOD presented the target of steel consumption volume 2019 is 415,000 tons, increasing by 15% compared to 2018.
The meeting also approved: Report on implementation Shareholder Meeting’s resolution 2018, sales and production plan 2019; Audited financial statements 2018; Report on BOM’s performing mission 2018 and plan 2019; Report on Supervisory Board’ result 2018 and plan 2019; Company’s regulations revision; Report on salary payment and remuneration of BOM and Supervisory Board 2018 and plan 2019….

In particular, the annual shareholder meeting 2019 has elected to replace BOM and Supervisory Board (2019-2024) tenure as follows: Mr. Hiroshi Kunimaru - Chairman of BOM; Mr. Trinh Khoi Nguyen - Member of BOM; Mr. Vu Van Huy - Head of Supervisory Board.
New Chairman of BOM - Mr. Hiroshi Kunimaru studied Economics at Kobel University, took over many senior manager positions as senior manager at Resona Bank (Japan) and Kyoei Steel Group; Member of BOD of Kyoei Industrial Co., Ltd. Making speech at the shareholders meeting, Mr. Hiroshi Kunimaru believes that his management experience along with the advantages of Vietnam Italy Steel JSC, the trust of shareholders and the support of all employees; he will complete his task, step by step make profit for company and increases benefits for shareholders and social community.

The Annual shareholder Meeting 2019 ended successfully with high consensus and support from shareholders. In 2019, BOM together with BOD and all VIS’s staff will continue to overcome difficulties step by step, solidarity and continuously make efforts to achieve and surpass the sales and production plans approved by Shareholders Meeting.
