Celebrating Vietnamese Women Day

On behalf of VIS female, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao - Head of VIS Women's Committee has reviewed the heroic tradition of Vietnamese and Viet Nam Italy Steel women.

Making speech at the meeting, Mr. Yoichi Hoshino - General Director congratulated VIS female staffs. He also emphasized that comparing with other manufactories in the heavy industry, the number of female employees in Vietnam Italy Steel JSC accounts for a relatively high proportion of nearly 10%. At our company, female employees have been taking on various positions. They always works hard and coordinate with male colleagues to complete their assignments. He also expects female employees and their colleagues will effort for VIS prosperous.

In addition, VIS women also participated many interesting games including: listen to music, predict programs; chase images, catch words… Especially, the contest "VIS Master Chef” was also took place with the concept "Traditional Japanese Cuisine" simultaneously.  There were three teams representing female staffs from three areas including Hai Phong Branch, Hung Yen Factory and Hanoi Office. Besides, all examiners are members of VIS BOD coming from Kyoei Steel Group. Teams surprised all examiners and audiences with food containing full Japanese culture such as Udon , Tempura, Hishumabosi, Norimaki ... Mr. Shatoshi Sugino - Deputy General Director – an examiner said that “all the food in this contest is so delicious, so beautiful in performance and full of Japanese culture”. This program of Vietnamese Women’s day ended in the cheerful and warm atmosphere of all female staffs and participants.
